Primary Fermenter - used for the first stage of winemaking.  For kit making it is generally a 7.9 gallon food grade bucket and a lid.
Secondary Fermenter - commonly referred to a as a carboy, this is generally a glass container that varies in size from 1 gallon to 6.5 gallons and is also used for bulk aging the wine.
Airlock - these come in several different designs, they use water or other liquids to allow gas to come out and prevent oxygen from entering your wine.
Siphon Tube - tube that is used to transfer (rack) wine from one container to another.
Racking Cane - hard plastic or stainless steel tube used to transfer (rack) wine from one container to another
Filter - used to polish the wine and give it that sparkle that commercial wines have, these are generally powered by an electric pump or gravity fed.
